Universal Declaration of Human Rights
A series of drawings depicting Articles from the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a document adopted in 1948 to establish fundamental human rights protection. The purposeful text of many nations’ input and collaboration in itself is stand alone eloquent. So, I depict it through careful study of each individual letterform, enticing the viewer to study the text, although much is illegible. Each Article has much to say, however the retention of each detail beyond memorization would be difficult. The overall understanding, the vision of each Article, is what I wish to capture.
