These drawings address dualities stemming from experiences as a twin and my cultural identity as a Japanese-American. Each diptych consists of "twin" panels, drawn to appear identical, but through closer scrutiny, one can see the differences. Similarity and identity are contrasted with individuality and assimilation, as we ironically seek both uniqueness and a sense of fitting in.
